The Bowling Contest

Fantastically creative way to remember your grandpa. Great contest. Congrats to you on a great game and to the winner for the lucky guess.

I got an injury at work last Friday and have been in some pain for the better part of a week, (partially torn my pectoral) so I haven't left the house alot lately. I will try to get your prize out by Saturday or Monday at the latest. I am sorry again, but my 2012 has started out pretty crappy.

Not a bad average rk. The past 7 weeks my average is 217 but the beginning of the year was really sucky for me. I had a 400 series and a low 500 series yuck. Now my average went upto 200 decent for me for the start I had (new bowling ball).

I have not bowled in years, but when I used to bowl a lot, I would hit a low 400 series. But it would take me 4 games to get it. I believe in setting short term goals, and that was mine. YEP. I was thrilled to death if I could break 100.

hey nod2003, contest is over I guess. I ended up being lucky enough to guess the number exactly, but I haven't heard anything from rkrj though, I hope he is ok.

spaceace, I had the same thing happen to me. I won a contest and the person said they were shipping prizes but because of shipping cost he said he would get the rest out the next week, then he vanished. A couple of people got their prize but a couple of others didn't. Life still happens even on these forums. Something could have come up for him and pushed everything else aside. I doubt he meant to do it but something just happened. Hope all is well with rkrj and he'll be back soon.
