I tried a different angle, here's what the obverse should look like.

Nice pics. Though I don't really like colorized coins, I don't mind this one that much.

Called the RBC to see when they are getting the new quarters in and they know nothing about them.

So who is going to put them into cirulation?

It looks as though they are being put into circulation right now directly through the Mint. I went back today to pick up another 8 quarters and this time there were 5 other people in the store also getting some quarters. I'd imagine that most people picking them up this way aren't going to go out and spend them but they are offically being "circulated". I did ask about rolls and they told me that if they still have quarters left tomorrow at about 5pm (tomorrow is the last day of distribution until 6pm) then they will let people have as many as they want and wave the 8 quarters per person.

Just to clarify, this is what I was told by the staff at the Vancouver store, the same staff that I've never been very impressed with in past dealings. They are also going to do the same promotion for the coloured orca in Feb and the coloured falcon in March. Hopefully I'll have my sets I ordered before then.

I went to my local RBC (Brampton ON) where I always go for new rolls and asked...

The teller informed me that they no longer distribute new rolls and only hand out recycled rolls of coins now. Something new for all RBC branches?

I could only find, from the bank rolls of my bank, the ones without colour.

Instead the mint sells 5 packs at face value. They don't seem to sell special rolls anymore. Maybe they'll sell penny rolls one last time.
