That is a very strange situation According to his FB, he has not sold anything since July/August of 2011 and the last Neg FB was posted in February 2011.

And it also looks like he buys all his coins from "martyschmitt" 17+ pages as a buyer, 98% are all fom the same seller.

Thanks for your suggestions, advice, and offers of assistance! I'll give him another week to either ship or refund and that will get this issue to 30 days. Then I'll proceed with an Item Not Received claim.

Cipster, I agree with all of the above. Just file with ebay. Let them do the work on it.. certainly not worth the aggravation. If you want to PM me your address I will send your 10 grandbabies, 10 little Indians.

Looks like he has rolled the neg history on ebay and starting back up where he left off. I can't believe ebay hasn't booted him. Well, I guess I can....

One of the many reasons I never, ever use ebay. And as already noted you could do much, much better right here on this forum.

I chased a seller for over 3 months over a roll of so called Unsearched Wheaties. I kept getting the run around then the seller would give me one excuse after another. Claimed they shipped it and a whole bunch of other excuses. But after three months of aggravating myself, a bag arrived that was at least a quarter full of Wheaties. Even though the fake reality of no one searching through it was gone, It was at least a nice gesture to say I'm sorry. Bag was ok and did have some nice coins but the lies they kept giving me ruined any chance of consoling me. And this was only over $5. It was my very first purchase as a new collector. I guess what I'm trying to say is don't let it get to you, although the flat out denying it would kinda push me over the edge. Have you sent him a cut and paste of your pay pal account. I find this always changes tunes when I'm getting the run around, and if you think about it. You'll probably make out better being the family here on CCF are so good. And please PM me as well your address, I've got Lincolns and a few other fun coins I'd enjoy giving the grand kids. Anytime I hear of kids enjoying coins, I think of the enjoyment that they must have opening this package possibly filled with treasure.

Stay on him, file with ebay it's the only way to let them know he is back to his old tricks (as it seems). I had a car of guys scoping out open garages in our neighborhood, they didn't steal anything from me, and my neighbor was also watching them as they cruised around, but it seemed pretty obvious as to what they were up too. So I called the police on them, the police said they appreciated the call, and the license plate # as there had been a rash of tools taken from the neighborhood lately, don't know if it was the same guys, but now the police have their info, and a good description, my neighbor also called, just to add more weight to the report. ebay can't stop what they don't know is happening, by reporting it you are helping them and anyone else he is scamming. Hopefully stopping them dead in their tracks, the more reports the more likely they will be to put a stop to his auctions.

I say give him the negative feedback that he deserves and start the ball rolling to get him off ebay. He's obviously is a crook. File a claim for item not received and add him to the CCF black ball seller list if not already on there.

Quote: why do I only see 1 neg feedback? Because under the current ebay policies they only count the feedback over the previous 12 months in determining your feedback score. He may have a ton of negs, but only one of them is less than twelve months old. So only one negative shows.

Thanks everyone. I filed a claim with ebay and buyer protection will cover it if he doesn't respond by Feb 3.

Let ebay deal with it. (I hate sellers like that!) (P.S. Cipster, if you PM me, I also have a few Old Indians looking for a NM home!)
