First ... Congratulations Amr.

I am amazed at your ability and passion to collect USA coins from Egypt ... and your achievements are noteworthy and inspirational.

Very well done indeed ...

One small suggestion ... take that 1950-D out of the 2x2 and place it in your album ... that 'hole' bothers my eye ... and the coin ... while a key-date for the set ... is not IMHO worthy of 'special' treatment to the visual detriment of the holistic view of the album.

I know how you feel about chopping coins out of holders.

Very well done indeed ... and Many Thanks for sharing.

David

Thank you David very much

I knew that this hole would catch your eye

Thanks again my friend for your words and for the advice

I say wait until you get a nicer, more protective album like a Dansco, and then rip the '50-D out and put it in the album.

I hope I will be able to get a Dansco soon ...... thanks for the advice

EgCollector,

How many of the nickels did you have to buy or trade for?

JonNickelCollector; These are the Nickels I have besides some Westward Journey nickels that I have as a start of a nickel type set ..... I hope to complete one day

I usually trade for only what I need unless the person I am trading with decides to toss some extra coins .... Thats why every single US coin I have is very special to me as it is the only one I have

Good job! Now find a 1944 with no mintmark, and you'll prolly have the only one in Egypt.

Make sure the staples are flattened on those 2x2, so they don't tear the mylar on others.

That is an impressive feat. I was actually thinking about you earlier in the week because I haven't seen any of your recent acquisitions posted lately and I was wondering if you were holding out!

Congrats on the set!

Thanks BuffaloBonehead ..... I have been trying hard to complete this set, and the 1938 and 1939 coins took me about a year to add
