Maybe we should see some close-ups of the 1910-S to see how close it might be to a downgrade, although I'd wager it is at more risk from fluctuations in gold prices.

VERY nice my friend!

(I wanted to do this too but Dansco didn't have an album for this coin type, so I moved on to something else!) and now I'm sad...

But I really like your solution!

That's definitely a fun set to go after. I have some XF's, but no AU's. It might be a safer bet to go after them in slabs and just break them out.

Johnny, If you EVER EVER EVER need to or want to sell that 1910S leave it in the slab !
It just adds so much to its value.
Rest in Peace

Thanks for all the comments. Yeah, if the 10-s were a 55, I'd have no problem cracking it out, but there's about a $250 dollar difference between a 55 and a 58. The 11-d I purchased(on it's way) is also slabbed, and I won't be removing that one. The other coins all grade from VF-AU58. My S-mints are moslty XF-45ish.

Moe, yeah I understand. It took me some convincing to do it this way, but I think it's worthwhile as it loks nice in an album. You really can buy dansco album pages for any size coin you want for a custom set. It might have been better if I had made printed labels for the dates....I may redo that part later.
