These dreams are always a let down.
I'll find or be given amazing or unique coins, then I'll realize "Blast! This is dreamland and there's no way of taking this home"

Of course, I had a coin dream last night after reading this post yesterday. However, it was not about coins, but the Coin Community.

Dreams don't foretell your future, don't be naive. They are mixtures of your past, your aspirations, and your anxieties.

Just had a dream about a coin last night:

It was a 1ozt silver US $1 coin, nearly uncirculated, writing on it of the same typeface as the Austrian Philharmonic, Minted in 1990, and I think some design commemorating something or someone Jewish.

BEAUTiful coin, Curse the games the mind can play like that

I have the occational dream too... Had another one last night. For me it is kinda scary...makes me wonder if I'm getting more and more addicted or obsessed...might need to step back again. My mind is obviously running free on where I think silver can go , why, all the economic news, my own finance and my desires to own more.

Had a dream of coins last night: Grandpa and I were at a grocery store branch of a bank and I saw six large "dollars" in the coin caddy with smooth edges, three of them edge-incused with 1942. I had no cash on hand, but knew I had some in my truck and went to get it. The dream morphed into other frustrations after that, and I never got to see what those smooth-edged large coins looked like

See that new TV show called AWAKE? Think about this. What if all your coins in your collection were only in a sort of dream. Suddenly you AWAKE only to find you have absolutely no coin collection at all. Even this forum is part of your dream. Coin collecting like the Beanie Babies died out a long time ago and now in your now AWAKE area, no one even collects coins.

Had a dream involving coins last night; in the last few scenes before waking up, I was examining a pile of pennies left as part tip by my dining partner at a Mexican fast food place. For a moment, one of them appeared as follows: 12 sided planchet, one face having the Canadian cent reverse reading 1983, the other with the LWC reverse.

I've had so many dreams in my lifetime, when I have one now wherein I come into something good, usually some amount of $$, I somehow seem to know it's all a dream. Bummer! And I can never seem to reconnect, which lots of folks seem able to do.

I catch myself dreaming of silver coins constantly. Is that bad? Realistically I don't care what people think. I love my new hobby!

Hey, if you had a coin dream that is great. There are probably as many theories about dreams as there are psychologists.

Can I ask what the main draw is for you? For me it is often the rarity of the coin. Also, I like to think of all the places and people it has crossed during it's existence. Think of the things an old coins has endured and where it has been.

There is also a theory out there which says that energy is transferred to objects and never really lost. In other words, some feel that a type of energy is attached to a coin each time it makes contact with someone new. To me, it is a bit out there but maybe not as far fetched as some may think.
