That would be an AU-50 Details (Cleaned) I'm a thinking since they drop to the lowest numerical grade for a given letter grade.... Or, on the upper end it could have been given a
MS-60 Details.... I'm leaning toward AU though...

I think they only do that for mint state coins(all problem ms coins are MS 60 detail). I vote for AU-55 detail.

Beautiful coin! What kind of cleaning would cause the marks on the obverse appearing to spring out of her back? That is a shame... otherwise, it really is a nice piece!

That would certainly explain the scratches appearing to come out of Liberty's back.

I'll never understand why people do such things to coins.
