Got all three 1899 but not the rest not too many out there. The 1870 dime is another hard one to get but happy with both my 1873 dime and five cent piece and my fifty cent is only missing a few varieties they grade from f-15 to ef-40

For the 25 cent you need the 1917, I started collecting marintime this past summer 20 cent and 50 almost complete doing the 10 5 and 1 cent now. I found if you wait for a major auction you can pick up 10 to 20 pieces for peanuts. Super low mintages , it's fun

I think I know what Glenn means there are some more years where I've seen some rediculously nice examples come up for auction either on ebay or at icollector. The majority of these coins, however, are priced with an extremely high starting bid and thus receive no bids. Key date 5 and 10 cents in nice condition continure to be seen very infrequently in the marketplace, on the other hand, and deserve more attention from colletors/investors IMHO. Right now I'm trying to complete a 5 cent Newfoundland collection in problem-free EF-45 or better... including all of the Victorian key dates. This is something that I expect will take me decades to complete, even if funds are available to purchase these coins. By the way, has anyone heard anything about the Newfoundland Coin book that supposed to be released this spring? I am anxiously waiting to get my hands on a copy! Can't wait to start hunting for all of those cool varieties...:-)

Provincial coins and pre-confederation tokens appear on ebay often. If you're patient you can get them as a very reasonable price. I have a half- complete set of Newfoundland large cents and complete small cent coins, along with several coins from the other Provinces.

Here's a 1911 Newfie half dollar I acquired not so long ago. I'm slowly putting together a Newfie type set but Lordy, the Victorian coins are expensive in mint state!

^ I'm assuming that the picture is a stock photo and not the actual coin coin that you acquired. Either way, that one looks WAY better than the one that I have.
