I'd keep it for the novelty factor. I'd even match the coins to the labels. Decades down the road, when somebody inherits your collection and goes to break it up, they'll have a huge "Whaaaa?" moment. I'd get a real kick out of that.

I thought an error album means you have to fill it with error coins.

I too would have just put the 47S and the 49S in the places where labled. One thing I would do is to place a sheet of paper in the front mentioning that. Usually such errors in Albums and books go unnoticed. However, sometimes error collectors would pay extra for such problems. And example is the missing page in one of the Whitman Red Books is now about 5 times the value to Red Book Collectors.

Just Carl- I haven't contacted Dansco in regards to this yet (I am assuming they will make it right). I bought the Dansco 7100 because of recommendations from this forum (it is a nice album...but unfortunatly its messed up) I am putting all MS cents in it and I shouldn't have to put a piece of paper on my otherwise beautiful Album and Cents explaining why what is where. I also like the neat look of the album and it "irks" me that those are swapped. Maybe its from my military days and everything should be "Dress Right Dress" but it is not acceptable.

IF they print and stamp these albums out, they should have more of these albums floating around, it is good that you contacted them right away. This way they can call the product back in to the factory and less will be released to the public. I would probably just keep the album if they wanted me to send it back, and just say you send me a new one, then have two for myself.

Not a bad way to make some lemonade.

Yeah, it was brand new in the plastic with the Made in the USA sticker
If it does bother you, then contact the vendor; nothing to lose for asking.

As I mentioned you could either purchase a new page, ask Dansco for one, leave as is. Myself, I'd leave as is just for the fun of it. Remember that this coin stuff is supposed to be a fun hobby. I know from what you say it bothers you now, but that is the type of thing I'd have fun showing other Numismatists. Type of thing I'd show them and say "Is this the way it's supposed to be?"
I've heard there was a Red Book with an upside down page and would like to get that for the same reason as mine with the missing page. It's all for fun you know.

I'd get a new page AND keep the other in there. Put it in the back for a conversation piece. Heck, you could fill it up while you're at it.

Well I contacted Dansco. They replied pretty quickly and said they would send me the replacement page for free. I'm glad they decided to do the right thing. I am also glad I didn't purchase a album made in a foreign country or it might not have been as easy to correct the situation.

Problem Solved!
