A hint from a long time Capital holder user, you can cut a nonpvc flip into 1/8" or less strips to make a long lasting shim for that $1

bigfredd is right. Technically that $1 gold coin should go with the "Liberty" eagle gold type set since it is from that era...but you can either make a shim or purchase another Capitol One holder with the "SM" $1.00 spot. Eventually when you put together your liberty gold set, you can get a $1 indian and swap them.

Thanks guys. I just can't believe I cracked that slab and its the wrong type of coin, that is almost funny.
I'm sorry for my ignorance but what coin would fit in this type set in the $1 hole? Is there a big date version?
I am now forced into a Liberty set LOL

Correct me if wrong but believe the large is indian type 2 and type 3 $1s.
