Well, I appreciate the posting, Silverhawk - I'll learn from your mistake and resist the temptation to EVER try this.
I probably wouldn't have anyway, but now for certain I won't.

Silverhawk,
THANK YOU for posting the results and please, if you can find the strength, post photos. Either way, consider it a valuable public service. I'm glad you received your money back. You'll need it. One of the few things with early financial returns worse than those slab lots is called...a kid.

I did find another guy who sells similar lots, but he guarantees gold coin or nugget, silver, a proof set from a random year, and a nice slabbed grade from reputable dealer. I will not buy any more of these, but I checked his feed-backs, an all who was buying them loved the lots, an he has sold many of them, but I am just to weary now. If I can't see what I am getting, just not interested anymore....

Fool me once shame on you.
Fool me twice shame on me.
There's a learning curve here.

Congrats on getting back the money and the return shipping too. I don't think that the seller bought your little white lie tho.
That was not necessary. He had to take the stuff back anyway.
I would still post accurate unfavorable feedback about his stock because you could save somebody else the grief if they read it.

You could get yourself in trubl claiming to work for ebay, and it really wasn't necessary.

I'm not a fan of the whole ebay message you sent or asking for a refund. How ebay gives all the buyers power is nonsense. You took a chance on a item and well it didnt pay off, Live and learn. Now this guy not only is giving you a refund. paying shipping, but also still pays a final value fee all because you bid on a item, won, posted on a message board what you won, receive the item and what you got was what everyone said you would get. Take the loss and learn from your mistake, the fact the seller refunded you the money is mind blowing. I cant walk into a 7-11 buy $20 in scratch tickets, scratch them lose and then ask for a refund. The teller would just laugh at me and ask me to leave.

If you saw how shameful the lot was, you would not consider me the bad I promise, an I will take time to post the pics....

I would NEVER do anyone like that, an karma will hit back on that seller one day. I am sure he didn't buy it, but he didn't want that negative....

I am talking some penny's so bad just a few years old, that I can't even make out Lincolns face....

I will stand before GOD an all one day come judgement, and gladly stand by what I did, and nothing any of you all can type will change that or make me feel bad....

They deserved a neg bad, an I wish they hadn't have refunded it so I could have dished it out....

What you are missing Swrwb whatever, is they didn't sell what they claimed. If it had been all modern day coins, NOT CROOKED IN HOLDERS, OR UP-SIDE DOWN, OR CUT AT A ANGLE, I would have took it on the chin an said nothing, lol....

And Fredd, with all the CROOKS on ebay, if they wanna come after me for that, then they are missing out on getting the real crooks as I always treat others they way I want to be treated, the golden rule real freakin simple....

Do you think I would actually sell this to another? No way I would attempt sell it separate as I would be ashamed to bar none.....

I am very interested in seeing some pictures of the coins that you received. I always see lots like this on ebay, and wonder what kind of stuff they actually send.

ebay is good at missing the big crooks. I'm simply saying you didn't have to lower yourself to a little white lie, the items were SNAD, and thus returnable.

You don't win by lowering yourself to their level.

You are right Fredd, a lie is a broken ten commandment any way you size it up, I should have just taken it on the chin an marked it up as a lesson learned. I stand corrected, but I was steamed and never make the best decisions in those situations, lol....

I am far from perfect an sent it out of anger I will say, an REALLY never ever figured they would refund my money.....

Switching up a bit to a different subject, I cleaned out my computer as it was running slow, and I had added WAY too many stupid games an other WORTHLESS programs over the years, many of which I had not accessed since 2007. Well my comp runs like a champ now, but I accidentally deleted my picture resizing program. A trusted safe program that I can downsize to fit into the CCF re-sizing program, an I will get some pics of this mess for pure comedy....

Awh Silver my homie, he got duped :(.

Sure is a lot of effort by the sellers part though to make/ get all those slabs.

Then again he made at least 50 bucks profit so maybe its worth it to him.

Stick to buying off reputable peeps like me on ebay hehe :). The people who take pictures that you can actually see rofl.
