I must be seeing more hits on the cheek than the others, I'm going MS62 maybe a 63, hopefully it's not as poorly graded as my 1921 ANACS, I put up a couple of months ago. https://goccf.com/t/108179I got robbed on that one! Interesting. Were it not for the reeding ding behind the eye, I'd think this a different coin. Your scanner is....optimistic.  The darker "scratches" seen on the cheek in the scan are pretty much confirmed as unimportant in the images; indeed, some of them do not show up at all. The obverse fields seem a little "busier" than the scans indicated, and the gouge at the hairline draws the eye a little more. The reverse is still very, very nice. I'm thinking 65 now. |

Looking at the reflection of your camera in the pictures, I'd say it has a good shot at a PL grade, therefore, MS64PL...

As numismaniac put it the very first post, and RJP put it the very last post, she grades MS64. I'm happy with her there, as I clearly got the coin and not the slab. I think it was very close to PL though. Good grading everyone!   |
