I just received this series 1928B $1 SC Experimental (XB block) from a member on the Paper Money forum. The series 1928 experimental notes were used to test various linen contents of the paper; the XB experimental notes were 50% linen and 50% cotton, the YB experimental notes were 75% linen and 25% cotton, and the ZB notes were the control using normal paper (25% linen and 75% cotton).

$10 1934A FRN, Hawaii overprint. I previously had a PCGS-C 64 example , but sent it in along with a bunch of other PCGS-C notes to PMG a year or two ago. Most of the notes crossed over at or close to the same grade, but the $10 Hawaii note came back as a PMG 58EPQ. That note was fairly dark, so I wasn't too unhappy to upgrade it.

Fantastic note, Hokie! All of the Hawaii notes that I've seen were somewhat bedraggled - that's the nicest one I've ever seen!
Inordinately fascinated by bits of metal with strange markings and figures

Thanks, jbuck and Hondo Boguss! I'm very pleased with the appearance of this one and quite happy to add it to my collection.

Been a long while since I added a note to my regular U.S. small-size type set since I've been so focused on Arkansas NBN and obsoletes. I did add this light-green seal $20 1934 FRN to my collection tonight, however. PMG has graded two finer, both of which are 67EPQ.
