Is it really that hard to find recent cents in gem grades? This 2010-D MS66RD is already up to $74 right now. By contrast, this 1995 doubled die in MS67RD just sold for $75. For a desirable (if relatively common) doubled die! In 67RD! Vs. a completely ordinary shield cent...

Hard to believe the 1955 DD is selling for much more than the red 1909S VDB.

yeah at first I thought the 1909-S VDB would be the one everyone wanted but it seems all the DD's in the collection has higher bids then the 1909-SVDB has right now. I can't believe the others that have higher bids than the 09-S also, here is the list from Highest Bid to Lowest Bid and there are quite a few that I wouldn't have ever imagined would bring more than the "key" coin would bring

Some serious sniping will be in store for the last few seconds of each action.

Quote:Curious about the motivation for ebay ... however . I believe they will get tons of traffic and lots of exposure as well as increase in reputation, beside the 12% cut of this multimillion dollar event. Think of Stack/Christie and other major auction house's reputation, that's what they are hoping for or want to get there.... With the success of this event, they will be able to bring in more larger auction event.

I see one large gash under "E" in STATES of the reverse of this MS67RD coin (beside the smaller one on the lower steps of the memorial): http://www.ebay.com/itm/1982-D-1c-P...m2a1b15dad4, which I didn't see on other coin in similar grade..... any thought?

That is crazy to be graded as a 67 with a huge gash on the reverse like that. I think it should be a 64.
