I think I speak for everyone when I convey how frustrating it is to be asked for advice which when given is ignored because it isn't what the person asking wanted to hear.
I did not wish to be rude, I was simply trying to emphasise that the coin had been tampered with.

When you take into consideration all the advice given regarding the first one of these being PMD, surely a person would realise that none of us are going to change our opinions when a second one appears. No matter which way anyone looks at it, the coin is worth 50 cents and if some poor bugger pays big money for it on ebay, then they will have been severely ripped off.

I would hope the decent thing is done and the listing is removed.

In a remarkable twist of fate, I have just found a relative of these coins.
I am not "taking the micky". I did find a 50c with the same looking "reeding" pressed into part of a corner.
Unfortunately it is still 100% PMD...

well, I don't think you all have to be so rude about it.....I was just showing it to you all to get more feedback (in a nice way).....

All the comments haven't been rude, simply truthful and been made by some of the best numismatics on the Aussie part of this site.
Regardless of these opinions I imagine that this coin will be listed by you on eBay
You did really well finding the "Bubble" coin but all the rest of your stuff is PMD.
Sorry Mate

Here are the pics.
Not nearly as good as many on here, but I hope they are clear enough.

And-It's-Not-Mine-:

Thanks ozcoins for posting the pics.

Indeed a twist of fate.

(If it was a 2010 rotated, I guess it would have been a twisty of fate ..... oh dear).

Anyhow, with all 3 images now showing around 14 identical teeth marks and opposing imprint / damage, I'd imagine the same culprit.

The first coin in this topic is a 2007, Ozcoins yours appears to be a 2006 as opposed to the 2008 in the latest listing by the one who cannot do the right thing, which suggests PMD even more than before (not that there was any doubt).

Now to find the 14 toothed squeezie beast that matches the markings!

Thanks again for posting the pics ozcoins

I have a couple of these and saved them for "just in case" but I thought they are PMD from chubb coin roller's. imagine one getting jammed in a roller type device due to the odd shape, I could see it causing this damage.

I found another of these today.
I think it must be some type of coin handling machinery causing it (just because I can't think of anything else doing it).
