But why stop at a 25% reduction is size? Why not reduce all coins by 50%. So much easier to carry then.
Same for our paper currency. Why not reduce them to about 50% to save all that stuff they make them out of.

Nice joke. If they didn't mention the reduction in coin size, it would have been a little more believable.

who would even want to counterfeit circulating coins anyway? and what would be the point of reducing the size? if it wasnt april I would have believed this, it's so stupid it sounds like a real government idea.
