It never hurts to ask ..
But I do agree .. just face value

I know you posted you have 10 coins .. but you listed 5+1+1+2 by date

So I would go with $9.00

I get these coins from the bank for face value of a dollar. I have one example from each year, trying to make a duplicate set. In my personal opinion the 77's are hard to find, not sure why. Still not worth more than face value.

All you dollar collectors, get ready to run and check your collections. I'm surprised no one has mentioned that there are three varieties of the 1977 dollar;
Type 1: Attached jewel/short waterlines
Type 2: Detached jewel/long waterlines
Type 3: Detached jewel/short waterline.

They aren't listed in the mainstream catalogues.

Coingirl; "Not into the $ after 1948...." then no running necessary- you're probably out of shape anyway from being a coin collector LOL!

As for the others, I have no values for the 1977 varieties, or know which is the rarer type. Got the info from ads in old Canadian Coin News but have subsequently thrown them out.

Thanks!
