He is saying the catalogue price for one note is $25 but there no way you would get that much. By dividing by 3 you get the average price for one note. Because they are consecutive you will probably get sightly more as in $10 instead of $8.

Quick question goatieman, if an $20 unc 8 digit radar had solid numbers like, 05 555 550, how much would that fetch? More because its has a 6 digit solid?

Cheers

Hey Aarong; there are a couple examples on ebay for $185.00. I add the FV to the equation, so $95-$100 odd & then maybe add an extra 20-25%. I'd maybe pay $115-$125 depending on how bad I wanted the serial number.

$20 8-Dig Radar 07777770

$20 8-Dig Radar 06666660
http://www.ebay.com/itm/20-Macfarla...em43af3c036c

There's also some $10's for $175...

Mind you, they are a much harder note to get than a 8-Digit Radar, you're using even more odds against it.

thanks apple ,
I wonder , how does bullion 303 get so many of these great notes ? does he get first choice from NPA , or what ?
I wanted to offer him $ 150.00 ea
for his $ 20.00 ones rather then $ 185.00 ea , but I think goatieman changed my mind with his top dollar of $ 125.00 ,.and goatie man I thank you for that..i believe now I can get better items for my $ 300.00 dollars ,,.. ,, kel ,,

In 2006 & prior (not sure how long exactly) but the RBA, sold notes through Downies, therefore a lot of 2006 & prior solids, radars, amazing serials were all purchased at auctions...for who knows how much? I would love to know. It'd be interesting to see what dealers were bidding against other dealers.

Always here to help as much as I can.

It's all about the notes for me & I'm waiting for this forum to be all about the notes...I might be waiting a while...

I would like to know if these 2 $100 polymer notes are of any importance, are they a good high serial number to have and do they hold any value.FE99979916 and IE99997428.They are in extra fine condition.

Hi to CCF. Those notes arent particularly high and arent any a last prefix. They would be worth $100.
