Wowsers, you'll have trouble storing that baby.
I remember seeing a dramatic penny error that was in pieces and was stored in a jewellery type coin box because it was a 3 dimensional masterpiece that could never be constrained in a 2x2.

That's what I call botox...that's one huge lip enhancement. Almost looks like Angeline Jolies' or Sophie Monks' lips at the moment. Very nice.

Some better pics of the 1950 threepence. Would I be correct in saying the coin moved while being stamped?, and what value is the coin worth Please.

The lump on the 5 is caused by a die chip, (US term) basically the die developed a break or hole where there shouldn't be one, and the result is this lump. I've never seen this error before.
Another possibility is that it's a bit of silver solder applied by someone in the coins past.
The missing denticles may be due to wear, or the coin may have been minted slightly off centre, but I think it's too worn to be able to tell for sure.
It also appears to have been cleaned fairly harshly at some time. It may have been a detector find.
Value is probably only silver melt give or take a dollar or two.

Thank you for your reply. The 1950 three pence coin I metal detected and I cleaned, It was found on an out station near where I live in remote Australia. The coin is in original state, all barr the cleaning. I do not think the farmer who lost the coin, had silver soldered it.
