I have a DA96 688 963 Note with same gap, also the note is printed 1-2mm to the right(meaning looks like someone cut a 1mm or 2, it has'nt been but is this rare?)on number side, other side normal

Lostsean, if the margin is way out of wack, like literally 5mm or more it may be considered scarce but not rare. When you start pushing out even further, you'd probably be talking rare.

Goatie man, on that I re looked at that note DA96 and compared it with a AA96(laid it over the clear windows and aligned stars, (so DA on top of AA)Colored strips lines up also, but note was about 2-2.5mm longer on left and about 1.5mm shorter at the top. It is both side that are doing it, not 1. hope this helps out on one side

LostSean; the best thing about that DA96 is it's a scarcer note to find. The issue with a minor mis-alignment is that dealers won't consider this to be an error &/or fault. If a collector considers it a fault, it's a different story completely.

Also, one year of notes were actually about 2-3mm longer than the rest. I'm not sure which year, but I remember looking through quite a lot of notes & noticing the same year again & again.

I have also noticed the 2-3mm difference some $50 notes. I haven't looked through nearly enough to determine that it occurs in particular on one year.

If the photos are of whole notes they may be over 5MB which will bust the optimiser.

AM print looks like someone has had a go at them with a stamp/stampad etc.
As for the BK08 371761; the first one being thicker. I see quite a few examples of that in $50's. I've kept only one of thos because the 9 in it was so thick that it almost hooked over completely.
The final pic, same; someone has had a go at them with a stamp/stampad etc. The numbers are larger than the serial number, the positioning of them is not correct for it to be an error, because the serial number is not reversed.

Not sure if this helps...
I have a pair of DA96 $50's and the funny thing is, one has an even so thin gap, where you indicated and the other has no gap...despite them being a consecutive pair. ?!!?!!

Lostsean; I have seen stacks of different stamps on different denominations of notes. I am a nootler, so I've seen quite a decent amount. I haven't kept any becuase of the fact, that none are relevant.
BankNoteLover; Consecutive note serials are actually printed on different sheets (e.g 135421, 135422). Consecutive prefix serials are printed on the same sheet (e.g AA, AB).
