Dare I ask about the significance of the word "Key," as used regarding coins? I understand the Glossary definition, but don't think this definition represents current use.

I had three of the wheelchair curling mule. I got them from a local postal outlet after spending 7 hours searching every outlet in the city.
I sold one for $450 within an hour of listing it for sale when it was first discovered and have hung on to the other two. I know I have seen 100-150 bandied about as a possible number for them.
A nice coin to have! I am still looking for a fair price on some of the others.
The 1973 LB is like the 1948 dollar- you can always find multiples for sale at any given time. Same with the Sept and Nov mules. The lynx is rarer and one I would like to get.

Greetings all, old 2012 post but I don't see the 1985 $1 with New Zealand on obverse (17 known of +/-). Also below, as appeared in 2009 Charlton Issue 63 with only 1 known. Now 2. Cheers, RichVG  |

Rocky: What is this mule coin you're talking about? I haven't heard anything about one yet... I know about the packaging error in the Canada150 sets, and the mule 1Kg gold Wolf "coin", but not a mule circulation coin. That's kind of cool, depends on how many more were struck with the Stanley Cup obverse, the 1999 toonie pl mule is worth only a few hundred bucks with wrong reverse due to too many were produced. It's one of either the only one and worth a fortune or a few hundred if many are out there, most likely many were produced, if I was your friend I would get it slab and quickly auction it off like the first two 2005 non mag P cents.
