The most rare of Ike's...a worn one. I wonder if some Nik-a-date would reveal the year?

Lex luther--the Thing--Thanks for the LOL! If I hold the coin just right I can see that it is a 1972. It weighs 21 grams.

Really neat piece. I'd submit it for slabbing just to see how they would grade it. Terrell

Is it wrong to love something so ugly? I mean, I think the Ike is a beautiful coin but I almost like that better than the Proof sitting on my desk. Can you imagine the stories that Ike could tell if it were able to talk? That is a well traveled coin.

I thought my ike I found was poor. I will have to grade mine as f12 and yours would be like g3 or 4 I would definitely get that graded for the fun of it

Very interesting coin. It was carried in someone's pocket for many years. I knew someone that had a 1964 half in his pocket for over 40 years and it wore like that too.
There are sets about worn coins like that. The right buyer would pay more than you paid for it.

I already commented in your grading thread, I should have commented here first since I did not offer a grade. I like it. A lot.
