I clicked on link to chat with them to ask, but took me to an email form. Guess the online chat has closed for today.

coincollect1: They will ship to Canada with minimum order of $250 and shipping charges to Canada are $34.95 USD plus an additional $0.15 USD per troy ounce weight surcharge. IMO not worth it, since the premium becomes much more than $1 over spot with the shipping.

Bingo, and that's why I haven't bought anything from APMEX yet. Too bad because they have some nice products.

I get these offers nearly bi-weekly. I've never bought since they don't appear that great to me.

Is it just me or do these offers from APMEX flood in when they think the price is dropping and go away when the price is climbing? I noticed this not too long ago, but need more time to confirm the trend.

WOW, Provident metals was $80 bucks to Canada. It sucks because of the selection and prices. Thanks

Ztt2 right with ya, they have no IDEA how much business that high shipping costs them.... They may look at the small timers who don't buy in bulk as a waste of their time. An that is fine as again that is costing them more business then I can figure on my calculator. So APMEX reps that read these threads hope you are taking notes an pass that info along to the big wigs an try an talks some sense into their most thick greedy skulls....

coincollect1,
I buy from J&M Bullion Coins and Bars, they are in Vancouver so I do my buying in person, however the nice thing about them is they are in Canada and you can pay right from your online banking or email money transfer. I'm not sure how their shipping is.

If anyone lives in GTA, I always go to Canadian Coin and Currency. They sell silver maples for marginally higher than spot price. I will be going there Monday due to the low silver prices.

Thank you for the update, I purchased 2 ounces yesterday because they had a $50 minimum order. I only wanted one, but I can always give my son the other one for his 5th birthday.
