weight and measurements would also help you since the magnet didnt stick -

Size: 38.1 mm diameter equal to 1.5 inches

Weight:26.73 grams

Thickness: 2.4 mm equal to 0.09449 inch.

Good luck -

Doubt it is a counterfeit. Wear pattern and details look authentic.

Nothing in particular strikes me as being a counterfeit.

With these images it looks real to me. No red flags off the bat, just very well worn.

Unless I could feel, hear, or see something with loupe, I don't see any reason to believe that it is not real.

Note: If you think it is counterfeit because you got it at a really really good price, let me know I'll buy it... :D

What exactly makes you think it might be? It looks like a G4 Morgan to me.

I'm not seeing anything that would make me question it.

I got it for 26$ and after comparing it to other morgans of the same year and mint, that the lowest grades seem to go from $35-45 Then thinking that something must have been up to why it didn't go for as much.

Whoever sold it sold it to you at close to spot (just its silver value). It's common enough with low grade coins sold as "junk silver" (an oxymoron if you ask me). :-)

Yes, that one can run up to 40 bucks at that grade, but I can also see it slipping by as "junk".

Do yourself a favor and don't buy junk coins like this unless you like them. Save another $40 and buy an uncirculated coin, you'll be a lot happier. Good luck.
