It is difficult to tell but there might be a couple of letters in'LIBERTY' partially visible. G-6 if only 2 letters visible or VG-8 if there are more.

VG 8, I see some hints of letters in "Liberty." However, there is significant detail left in the headress and features. I wouldn't grade this coin, nor any coin, strictly by the book. Looking at the big picture, this coin has VG details and warrants a VG grade.

I'm still curious about whether there is a die crack between the wreath and the C in CENT. maybe it is a scratch on the slab? If it is a die crack, you could have the only one known for 1877.
