Tz thank you.
Fuzzy I do really how how detailed it is on the back. The eagle and star on the front is very fitting as well.
speck no carbon spots, I try and stay away from coins with those personally. If anything it actually looks "newer" than the pictures make it appear, but I am usually very picky when it comes to this set. I usually dont even like toning unless it is a slight gold tint but those very toned coins a lot of people love just dont do it for me for some reason. And thank you.

Great coin! Congrats on the purchase! These coins are wonderful in a high mint state grade like yours -- all of the details come shining through!
A complete Texas set would definitely be a thing of beauty if you should decide to pursue it. I've always been more of a type collector, so one example works for me. At times though, I've thought about expanding my set to include an example from each Mint.

At times though, I've thought about expanding my set to include an example from each Mint. Ive been going back on forth on that myself. I feel like if I do it for one I will want to do it for all of them. I would like to do it for the Boone and possibly for this and the Oregon as well, but the Alabama and Washington ones I think 1 example should suffice. At the moment for this and the Oregon I would like to do 1 from each year which and take it from there

Lovely coin! Congratulations on the outstanding addition to your growing set. There are a few multi-coin sets within this fabulous series that I am considering ... Texas and Oregon Trail amongst them. Well done by choosing this lovely example ... looking forward to all of your future additions. David

Thanks Nickel.
I really do like the Texas and Oregon a lot myself. The Boone seems to be the most doable in terms of numbers.
I think the only thing I can say for sure is I wont be doing the washington one. Just way to many and theres to many other coins in the set I like a lot more where I would rather put my resources into them

I have always loved the Texas Commem's design. I think it is beautifully done and that is pretty amazing when you consider it has so much going on on the Reverse. I was upgrading all my Commems in the Dansco7070 album to classics and I had chosen three of them that had some sort of Eagle on the coin and then the Roanoke Commem. since I live in NC, but the Texas was definitely at the top of the list as a have to have for the set

Bryan it really is amazing the amount of detail they were able to fit onto the reverse of this coin. They really went all out with that design.
Like you I am also a big fan of the eagle on coins.
I still havent gotten either of the coins from the states I've lived in VA and CA, well San Diego in CA so I need that one too. Norfolk in VA really isn't a nice area anymore other than the Navy base which is biasing me against that one a little bit.
I love the Korea and the old Liberties you have in your album link
