I was at a gas station today. I looked at my change and saw a 2012P Dime. Went back into him and asked if I could buy a roll of dimes. So, I ended up with a roll of 2012P dimes! They are all so perfect, very cool.

My take, from circulation, as of a couple of weeks ago. I've since found two El Yunque quarters.

What are they doing unprotected in your sweaty meathook?! Have the Zincolns crumbled into scale since this picture? ;)

Look at that rim on the Dimes. I used to think those were worth saving until I noticed way to many are like that. Sort of overly done.

I have been getting 2012 P pennies for a few months now. I just got my first 2012 P dimes at Riteaid yesterday. I knew they were shiny when I got them but I did not realize they were 2012's until I was out of the store. Next time I go back in there I am going to ask if I can get a roll. Still no nickels or quarters yet. It is a shame that the new quarters don't circulate.

Went over to Springfield/Branson, MO this week for training and got excellent 2012-D pennies and nickel in change, good enough to seal them in 2X2 flips. On another note, I went to a couple of local coin dealers since I was there and had time, just to see what they had. The first one was the funniest, I went in and asked about coins and he asked what I was looking for. I told him and he went to the back and came out with a long box, then asked what dates. I asked if I could look through them and he said no, just tell me what you are looking for. I told him every date I was interested in, and he presented them, one at a time for me to examine. After about 25 minutes of this, I finally settled on one in particular and asked how much. He looked through a price sheet, then gave me a price I was comfortable with for that coin. I told him I wanted it, and he said , "you do?", and I said yes. He then yelled out in the back, "Hey dad, we just sold one!". I died laughing on the inside! I am used to coin shops letting you look through coin boxes on the counter. These guys must have crooks come in, they had the common bars-on-the-windows I am used to seeing on some coin shops.

I have been finding tons of 2012 for 4 or 5 months now. Except quarters of course, which are the only ones I will keep. Being a cashier helps though.

First time today I've seen a 2012 coin in circulation. Several 2012D Lincoln cents in the "find a penny, keep a penny" ashtray at the local Batteries Plus. Haven't seen anything else. Thank goodness for ebay and my traders!

As far a pennies are concerned I am finding mostly 2012's from Philadelphia, with just small handful from Denver. In fact, I have turned back in 5 boxes of Philadelphia. I keep about 5 rolls for future use (mostly grandkids). However, I do put together rolls from Denver. It never see full rolls of new coins from the Denver mint at all. I haven't seen any 2012 ATB Quarters in circulation yet. Just a few dimes and nickels now and then but I do try and put together BU rolls of them. I used to get the presidential rolls from the bank, but with the change in the mint policy I don't expect to see them any more without paying a premium for them to the mint. I won't be doing that. Anybody else out there putting together BU rolls (other than pennies) for 2012? I'm just curious about success rate at doing this.
