I can't believe someone paid $99.00 for a coin in very obvious condition that it was altered to look like a 14D.  I've seen some altered ones that actually wasn't too bad but, this one really stands out.  |

Notice how the supplied photo put shadows in the area around where the VDB would show. Very convenient.

That is is just sad. My 8 year old daughter is 10X smarter than the guy who actually won that. And she has only been collecting for about a year. |
