It really just depends on the bank. Some banks have really friendly staff others not so much. Once you find a couple good banks, you should be set with supply banks.

Yea, you're in good shape.

Like others, my strategy is not to overwhelm.

I've found good supply banks, keep them happy, show appreciation, bring food.

The grumpy banks, either I dump at or avoid based on the climate.

I've also started parceling out my dumping more; I used to dump at 1-2 banks with between 500-1000 each bank per week. Now I dump at 3-4 banks with usually less than 500 each to make sure I don't have them changing too many bags and remembering me.

Every so often I make random stops at banks I'm not sure of and grab what I can, and leave them alone for a few weeks so they forget about me.

Found one bank that seems very friendly. I called to make sure they had half dollars there and they said, "We sure do. $1600 worth at the moment come get em all!"

Was surprised with that response lol. May be getting an account there.

I searched $20,000 in dimes last year, dumping maybe twice a month, 95% customer rolls. I don't volunteer any info to the bank, as it's really none of their business. I have accounts at 3 banks and 2 CU's. I only reward the tellers once a year, as frequent rewards mean less silver finds in the long run. The tellers all know what I'm doing, and they are cherry pickers themselves.

each bank is different, you will eventually find the ones who are nice vs mean and slowly develop your own comfortable pattern, at first it might seem tough but then it just like eases out itself

You may find it hard to order or return to banks if you don't have accounts with them. Most places require $0-100 to be in your account for a free savings. I'd suggest getting one of those and starting off slowly with your weekly orders.

I have 4 banks I can order up to $1000 in pennies a week from. I actually started out ordering $500 from each of them and just found I could order more if I wanted to. You have to see what the banks can do and don't push your luck. If they limit you and you need more just find a 2nd or 3rd bank.

There's always another bank.

I have only picked up a couple of boxes. The first time the teller gave me a funny look when I asked for a box of pennies (almost all copper) and the second time in a different bank the teller just smirked. I'm not sure what the smirk was about...

Dumped $400 in dimes today at my local CU, they teller asked, "Weren't you in not too long ago with coin?"

I simply said yup, couple weeks ago.

She said "wow, that's a lot of coin" lol.... kind of annoying to me that they have to ask questions all the time.

How is this strategy? Tomorrow I'm going to pick up my first box of nickels. Instead of dumping my remaining nickels at the bank I have been planning on visiting different vending machines and swapping the nickels for quarters. Who knows, I may get some nice quarters. The rest I can take to the bank. I think that they like a couple hundred quarters more than a couple thousand nickels.

I Love my Bank, After A couple times in and out dumping 200$ in pennies, They asked If I Could Mark The Boxes... She asked because another fellow coin hunter out there is using A Checkmark on the boxes to let them know they have been searched.
I Also Check them, And put A X on EACH roll. * I honestly think everybody should do this *

Anyways I go about 3 times a week to dump and restock with 400$ they give me NO PROBLEM AT ALL! I apparently Drained all their pennies :D, However they are nice enough to save New ones that come in for me, and I never got any yet.. But theyl be saving half dollars for me when they get some :) .

If they run out of pennies, Get nickels or dimes... or even quarters! :D
