LOL ... my thoughts exactly.

I know absolutely nothing about paper issue errors ... but do know enough that somehow the OP is pulling our collective legs on that 'sold' price.

There are no decimal points in there.

When I brought the note to the specialist, he said it was an error he had never seen before, and "one-of" errors are basically non-existent because the mint doesn't print dollars that way. He thought it would be worth around 7-8 thousand and offered me the above price.

The area where the left serial number would be has a bunch of repeated pixel blocks

Maybe we should all post some pics of errors.

Here is one I sold for $105,500.07 You can clearly see Jefferson was caught picking his nose during the painting of his portrait.

lol well at least he got paid over 5k for his poorly photo shopped note! I'd bet about a grand that he is 14 years old or younger. Any takers? 20:1 odds.. right here.. lay down your money!

Naturally. I wouldn't have expected one dollar less!

I see Andrew Ewald won't be visiting us anymore, at least until he creates another account anyway. What a shame I was looking forward to any responses he had regarding his new found wealth.
