I know absolutely nothing about paper issue errors ... but do know enough that somehow the OP is pulling our collective legs on that 'sold' price. There are no decimal points in there.
When I brought the note to the specialist, he said it was an error he had never seen before, and "one-of" errors are basically non-existent because the mint doesn't print dollars that way. He thought it would be worth around 7-8 thousand and offered me the above price.

Here is one I sold for $105,500.07 You can clearly see Jefferson was caught picking his nose during the painting of his portrait.  |

Here it is a little brighter. This is one of the worst jobs at faking an error we have had on the boards in a long time lol   Edited by Nickelman

lol well at least he got paid over 5k for his poorly photo shopped note! I'd bet about a grand that he is 14 years old or younger. Any takers? 20:1 odds.. right here.. lay down your money!
