I'll bet it's awesome in person! However, the pics sure leave a lot to be desired...

If you want some eye candy, check out the other items this seller has listed. Insanely high grade coins, at extremely strong prices. I just wish someone with that kind of inventory could spend $1000 on a decent photography set up so we could actually see what they look like. I bet that 1916 SLQ is a show stopper in hand.

Great coin, too bad they didn't present it in a more professional manner with good photos. It it were mine, it would be going to Heritage instead of ebay to get top dollar.

The too-bright photography does suggest this '16 is the very definition of Blast White. Problem is, you can't tell from the photo whether it deserves the "FH" designation.

I would have bought this but there is only one and I would want a few of the same. I really liked the idea of FREE SHIPPING. Helps save a lot of money that way.

Quote:Do people that have $35,000 to spend on a coin actually shop on ebay? Maybe. If I did, I think I'd jump on my private jet and check it out in person first.

I like SLQ's but this one is way too white for me even taking into consideration the poor photography. Ed ANA LM-3175

The seller is Steve Contursi (I think I spelled his name right) who sells alot of top end items ie: Brasher Dubloon etc. He also is known for having the first US silver dollar struck an 1794 flowing hair beauty.
