It looks original and well worn. Not my choice as I prefer my commemoratives with much mote detail.

Looks like a wore out AG-03 commemorative half, this one saw a lot of pocket time and was rubbed for luck many times daily.

I would think that it's a lock on AG03 with a chance at FR02. One question that I always ask is if the reeded edge is worn down when it has this much wear. If it has pretty much full rims it was probably in a benzel and PCGS won't grade it.

IMHO, save your money for a better. There is a lot of history in this commemorative. If coins could talk!

It is an honestly circulated coin ... original surfaces and most likely grades AG03 or FR02. Grades much lower than my current F12 or so example ... so well found by you HONDO. 2 hours left on the auction ... $10 or so current bid ... I will of course stand down my personal interest ... and cheer on your interest in this lovely circulated commemorative. Go for it ... nice honestly circulated coin. David

I'm hoping you tell us that you are the new owner of this coin ... I would have bid more than $18.51 .... soooooo ... does it belong to HONDO ... the 3rd coin in your growing circulated set? David

Yes sir! My max bid was $20 and there was room to spare. Thanks nickelsearcher for standing down and giving me a chance to buy the coin!
Can't wait for it to arrive. Shipped this morning, I expect it will arrive Saturday. Pics will follow.

Hooray for you HONDO ... a great acquisition for your circulated set. You know of course that I am pleased to offer any support I can ... within the constraints of way too much work lately. David

nice buy at that price, in my opinion. Less than $8 over the silver value, right?

The coin arrived a few days ago and I wanted to share some pictures. Would love to know what you guys think for a grade! Thanks again for all the help.

You can use some work on your photo skills HONDO ... the out-of-focus images with bright spots make it ... uhhmm .. difficult to offer an educated grade opinion. I offer the above with the greatest respect for your interest in the series ... joy for you for this purchase ... and my continued commitment to support any questions (public or private) that you may have. If you check above I offered a grade opinion based on the seller photos ... I'm sticking with AG03/G04. For comparison ... here is my circulated example which I grade F12 ... You have acquired a lovely circulated commemorative at a great price. David

Haha, yeah... My pictures stink. I will see what I can do to get a better shot but I'm gonna say AG03 also. This coin actually has a very pleasing look in hand. Hard to describe.
