I dont think expensive is what it is about.

my note is very beutiful I think. it is in great condition and is like bran new and then again more than 100 years old.

When I take a look at the coinchannel on youtube and I take a look at auctions around the world, there are notes so expensive that I am sure I will never get one.

some like to collect money for difrent resons, I just like notes in god conditions and if they have some value I take it with an extra smile.

Groendrup: Just to be clear, my comment was not regarding your banknote, I was talking in general after having seen the 5 pages of the thread.

I like your banknote.

Hi Thai-Vic
If you look at the palm trees branches (leaves) behind the Queens head rotate the pic on its side it clearly spells the letters S E X the 10 rupee of the same group has the letters S C you M discernible in the coral of that note.
Some think it was deliberately done as Seychelles was striving for independence at the time - I am not so sure could have been a freak just like the Devils Head that Canadian notes had in the original 1954 issues.
It is very much sort after by QEII collectors and is Scarce in top grades and expensive as well :)

I don't really have a collection of banknotes because I'm more of a coin person, but I narrowed it down to two. The first is a series 1944 AMC 5 Francs for France. It's very simplistic, but I just love the vibrate colors of the flag on the reverse. The second is a 1910 German 10000 Mark. I love the font and of course the beautiful image on the reverse.

1914 Bank of Communications 1 yuan. One of my absolute favorites though its not super valuable. Train, ship, and gorgeous colors.

I have a question for Hajduk or anybody that could answer about a note you posted above. What year is the $20 Federal Reserve Note with the train and the ship above. I need one!! Thanks all.

Canada $20 from 1969. Multi-colored series. I love all denominations from that series, however the 20 has always been my favorite.
