There are a lot of knowledgeable people on this site that repeatable answer the same questions over and over. As you read through the post it is your option to skip the ones that you are so knowledgeable about. Or not interested in. These people are doing their best and it is the best.

Quote: Maybe the moderators could give us a kiddie section or a beginners section on the CCF forum, I know a few other forums that have a section like that. BC,I had suggested a LONG while back to the mods / admins a Sticky TOPIC be created with GENERIC links....At that time I was told not many posts on the currency side Ergo, post away continues... It's very unfortunate some of the knowledgeable folks DO NOT post anymore.... Edit BelowHere is the suggestion (see link) I had made (9/26/2010) a while back and the ANSWER was e-mailed back to me by one of the Mods. https://goccf.com/t/72294

Hello, thank you all. I see that my question has become has become a heavy burden. I asked for the value of the quality, because I do not collect world paper money except for NDH and Yugoslavia. But my experience it is not enough to grade the bill. So my apologies experienced collectors because, I only collect medieval(Central and Eastern Europe) coins and Austro-Hungarian empire coins, so I have a lack of experience with banknotes. Best regards ,Nikola.

Nikola You say Quote: I asked for the value of the quality GR58 and Bill collector say Quote: I feel this note would sell in local shops from $5.00 to $10.00. You say Quote: But my experience it is not enough to grade the bill Bill collector ALREADY answered YOUR original question Below Quote: $ 10.00, and that's for one in Fine, it looks like that note is way below fine, maybe it's in good but like I've always said, it's just about impossible to grade a note from a photo on a computer. It still looks bad to me and if I had it I would gift it to some young collector just starting out. Bill Collector

Guys, With all due respect to all of you as Knowledgeable collectors &/or extensive Researchers, nikola, in my humble opinion did NOT commit a crime!! The guy has asked a simple question, & after that I've started seeing "sarcastic" replies after the first post by The Bill Collector ... Why you are giving him a hard time?!! I don't know him & am not trying to defend him for some hidden reasons, but, it makes me get upset when I see some venerable members started getting annoyed & then exploded!! No offense, if you do NOT like such posts & consider them "kiddie" or "trivial" or whatever, why you don't skip them & NEVER look at them? Even the whole community members may start pressing "ignore" button till such posts fade to black?! Then NO ONE will post such a "kiddie" question in the future (as, the way you see it). Why we can't simply get a long to go a long? The guy is OBVIOUSLY not from USA. Besides, he's NOT into Banknotes. Besides, he's ONLY into "foreign" Coins ..... Top of that, he has already APOLOGIZED! The venerable member who says that search before you ask (or something like that), I totally agree with him, however, I would be highly appreciated if he could teach me how to search such a "topic" & ensure that the other thread is uploaded with SIMILAR note I have & SAME grade in order to AVOID wasting members' precious time?! As you all are aware, grading differs from country to country ... For instance, if the uploaded US Dollar was an Egyptian note with the SAME grade, it would be considered VG-F. I'm NOT trying to brag here or something, but, if you do not care about the grade or you would consider VF grade as an acceptable example for "inexpensive" notes because it's eventually, about a hobby & NOT money ( I TOTALLY respect such a point of view), there are other collectors out there who care for grading because they CLUB hobby with future investment for scarce & rare notes (I'm one of them ... because I'm keeping this notes for my grand children like maybe after 20 years). It doesn't make sense at all for someone who purchases RARE notes to IGNORE grading & pay a considerable amount of money because it's all about only hobby (unless, this guy is a Millionaire or something). Again, NO offense & with all due respect ... Cheers

Sorry James4444, And others that feel the way he does. I guess you didn't read this part of my post:
"It's obvious that these post are not about currency collecting or building a collection. Hope no one takes my comments as bashing or snobbish as I don't mean it that way but it seems that these type of questions are getting out of hand"
Sorry you did not like what I wrote, but that's the way I see it.
Please read again what Ceylon62 said, he's been here a long time and has seen how things have been changing.
"Bill collector ALREADY answered YOUR original question Below $ 10.00, and that's for one in Fine, it looks like that note is way below fine, maybe it's in good but like I've always said, it's just about impossible to grade a note from a photo on a computer. It still looks bad to me and if I had it I would gift it to some young collector just starting out" He also said: "It's very unfortunate some of the knowledgeable folks DO NOT post anymore"
James4444, Ever wonder why ?.
Also please read what Nickelman had to say he's also been here a long time.
When I said: "When I first joined this forum it seemed that it was more about coin and currency collecting but now it seems to be getting overrun with the "what's it worth" thing or grade this for me thing"
James4444, This is what he said: "Most of the serious collectors that belonged to this forum when I joined have moved on, some by their choice, some not. You can see that change by exactly what you just said. I belong to other forums that have serious collectors and I can tell you there is a WORLD of difference between those forums and here"
Again James4444, wonder why ?.
This is one of the first forums I joined, I like it, so much in fact that I was thinking of becoming a CCF supporter, and now that I have done the over 250 post thing I was thinking of passing on my duplicate notes to the members here before I put them anywhere else.
But the way things have been going I don't think there are many that would be interested because there not all wrinkled up and of low grade. Only kidding, but I hope you get my point.
And of course I also notice that the more knowledgeable members like zeewool and many other knowledgeable collectors don't post or try and help here any longer, again wonder why ?.
Like I said, I was going to give this some time off but your post about me and my truthful "sarcastic" post pushed me to write this reply.
Sorry you did not like what I had to say but again that's the way I see things going. This can be a very helpful forum and hopefully the Mods can help in some way so that the knowledgeable collectors will start posting again. Regards Bill Collector

"@The Bill Collector, Well, everyone is entitled to his opinion"
And that's exactly what I gave, an honest and truthful opinion of how I and others see things going, but it seemed that you couldn't handle the truth and did not have any answers to the questions I asked.
Still wishing that some of the old time very knowledgeable collectors would come back and start posting like they used to. I've learned a lot from them and they are really needed here. But I'm not giving up yet, I think there's still hope Regards Bill Collector

Nikola: Hello! Nice find. I would grade the note as F+ maybe if I had it in hand it could be VF(IBNS Grading) , but I can't tell now if there are any rips in the note. If it is undamaged, I think a $15+ trade value would be OK. Sale value is what someone would be willing to pay for it. Keep collecting and enjoy the hobby. Remember that it is easier to carry around 1000 banknotes, than 1000 coins. KK

Nikola, good for you for recognizing one of our nicer notes. I can't say that I would be able to do the same with your older currency. Yes everyone is entitled to their opinion, but that does not mean everyone wants to hear it. The OP asked a simple question, just because you felt it was beneath you does not mean you need to address it. Just my opinion.

The Bill Collector said: Quote: but it seemed that you couldn't handle the truth and did not have any answers to the questions I asked Man! It's NOT about who will shut others' mouth AT ALL!! If I want to come back & start retorting, I would consume 10 pages!! All I was trying to deliver is the code of "FRIENDLY" Environment, that's about it! You may find a question I ask "trivial" & vice versa .... You may find an answer I reply "silly" & vice versa .... Nevertheless, it does NOT give the right for BOTH if us to pass judgements on each other & start hassling each other. Simply, we do have the choice to IGNORE by NOT commenting, & avoid HARSH replies ... Again, I'm NOT trying to challenge you or judge you. However, since we lack face-face conversation, our only tool is: How to choose/use our WORDs carefully (if you know what I mean?) I found your replies a little bit harsh as well as, other members', you feel the contrary or you stick to it, eventually, it's your right. To conclude, as I said in my previous reply: "everyone is entitled to his opinion" Cheers

Ok, I give up on this and will NOT post any thing else about it. I can see that no matter how anyone tries to explain it there will be some that will never understand what's happening here.
My apologies to those that understand what is happening to the Paper Money section of CCF and have had to read all this stuff.
I'm done trying to help or trying to guide anyone, now I understand why some of the old timers have stopped posting and no longer try an help any one. Regards Bill Collector

Hello Nikola, I Think you can get round about 8 Euros in Europe. European collectors graduate much stricter than US collectors. (Mislim da možes dobit oko 8 Euro, nije više.) Greetings
