I think that the mint will open the latest coins up to the public tomorrow (or in about 2 hours) but they are MC only right now. That said, there is at least one dealer that has the special edition $1 on it's website now. Edit: It's also on ebay and one guy is shamelessly asking $250 for it.

Just picked up a Roll at the local Post Office. I won't bother with the special edition set.

Here's a pic I lifted from ebay in case you haven't seen one. Picked up a roll from my local PO this morning, postalguy said he got 40 rolls and I was the first person to ask for any.Guess we'll be fiding them plentiful in circulation soon.

Someone should tell the people who are bidding $30-50 per roll on ebay that they are doing it wrong.....

I find these "sports loonies" are the hardest ones to find in circulation. I have ONE roughriders loonie and maybe only 2-3 Montreal Canadiens loonies. Very low compared to the rest. The only thing harder to find is the 2012 "old style". I guess I'll try the post office.

I'm sorry, I don't buy things through the forum, or through ebay, & generally speaking the internet. Still, I'm wondering if any reputable website would sell them. But I appreciate the offer timnic44.

If you were looking for a coin or two, I would have just sent them to you. If you had wanted more, then I would have asked for actual cost plus actual cost of shipping as a way of helping a collector. I have done this for others on this site. But myself not being a "reputable website" will have to withdraw my offer to hook you up.

Sorry, its nothing personal, I'm sure your a great person, its just my policy that's all. Although I surely appreciate the offer. & I completely understand you withdrawing it. The coins look awesome though Are we good?

I had one post office give me 2 rolls and the second one I tried only wanted to give me 5. I had them call their next in command and they authorized a full roll. So I'm happy...

I was given two as change but was allowed to pick what two I wanted from the open roll in the cash register. Most had alot of marks in the big flat background.
