And by the way - I will keep this site bookmarked and may return from time to time, even if just to say I am still alive...but do not hold your breath waiting for me to come back in a 'coin expert' role. My days of doing that are likely over as I see it right now. Once I step off the block, getting back on is likely to not happen. My attention - if I do return to coins at all - will need to be given to other endeavors I have in mind, and message boards will not be my primary focus any longer.

Chuck, I have always respected you for your giving of your time and your dedication. I see that has not changed, you are just redirecting it. I agree that family must come first. Best of luck and I look forward to hearing from you occasionally.

You had me at son. No further explanation or justification is necessary.
You will be missed, but your son will always need you more than we do.

Hey coppercoins, thanks for all your help and attention. Maybe you can come out of retirement when you retire.

Thank you for all you have done for us and the advice you have given. It is never too late to have a relationship with our children and I am glad that you have your priorities in the right order. Everything happens at the right time. I hope we will see you more in the future, but I hope you do stop in, even if it's infrequently, to let us know how you are doing.

coppercoins: Obviously, there some other much more important issues in your life the need your attention. The number of posts you have submitted gives a clear indication of how much fun you derive from numismatics.
Putting aside your numsmatic interests to deal with those other issues give some idea of how impotant those other issues are.
You have my prayers, and I wish you well in dealing with them.

I remember both CC and Coop being two of the most helpful folks during my first stint in variety collecting a couple years ago. I noticed that Coop has been inactive since November of last year and then I found this post from CC. I must admit it makes me pretty sad to not have these two both actively involved in the community.
Here's to CC and Coop and the hope they will soon return to us, full force!
