alright I stand corrected, the 250k I mentioned was from a post in a thread about this coin and since I didn't have access to the ebay page any longer I was going by that as what was being asked. I am still going to tell you that your coin may be worth 4k if it was in PCGS plastic but you will NEVER sale it to any knowledgeable collector for the amount you are asking because it is not unique as you say (as we have proven many times in this thread) and not really all that rare as they come up for sale rather often
This thread reminds me of the 1858 Indian cent last week, when a new member to the forum requested information, and shortly thereafter, the SAME coin was listed on ebay, and alot of back and fourth with the poster claimimg that the ebay listing was not his.. Long story short, atleast one other forum member besides myself decided this was the end of replying on that thread... And speaking of errors, I have posted some in the last year on CCF and could overwhelm most if I decided to post over 1000 World Error coins... But being the procrastinator I am, this will never happen...
elevencents11c (aka redwin117) has been hyping this coin for a couple of years on other forums and has been told what the actual value is but refuses to believe it. He actually believes his coin is valued at $10,000,000. It's worth (on a good day) $5,000 to $6,000 even with it being in an ACCUGRADE slab.
Remember, you can ask whatever you want for a coin but until it actually sells for that amount, it's all fantasy.
I would take anything said about this particular coin with a grain of salt.
Quote: obviously he knows what he has,is he rubbing it in members faces? I'm confused!
We don't really mind people bragging about what they have as we have allot of people that like to show their coins. That is not a problem and we love to see the coins that everyone has.
At first I just pointed out that after seeing his pictures I knew what coin this was and then I also understood why he was saying that a TPG that is no longer in business and Most collectors and dealers wont touch because their grading is all over the place, it was because his coin that he thinks is worth 10 million dollars is in one of this companies slabs.
When we see this type of thing as a seller trying to find a fool and then them register on this coin forum and start talking stuff that doesn't make any sense (like promoting the company that has inconsistent grading) and then their next post is showing this coin we start to think they are trying to drum up a buzz about the coin on the forum so he could list it again and when someone does a search on google they see this thread of people praising the cool coin the buyer may just hit the BIN button and that we have a problem with.
If that is not what he is trying to do then its fine and we have no problem with it and thats why this member hasn't been locked out of the forum already (because we don't know his motives yet). It wouldn't matter much now anyway if it was because if someone does google the coin because they are selling it on ebay again they will see this thread and what the coin is actually worth (not the 10 million they were asking for) and see that the coin is NOT UNIQUE like the seller claims and hopefully they can make an educated decision from that. Thats what this site is for, to inform people about coins
Okay, so it's been established that you are edwinrd117 who attempted to sell this coin for $10,000,000 which means that you have lied about that. This is according to the youtube video that you posted.

This is interesting since you have stated that this coin is not for sale - lie number 2.
You have been given values for this coin that are actually much higher than actual prices asked/realized on ebay for the same/similar coins as proven in these links:
While yours is an interesting coin, there are others out there and it is time to move on to other coins now. I believe you are attempting to generate interest in this coin so that you can sell it. After this post, none of our members will pay even close to what you want for it because it simply isn't worth it. The fact that you posted a youtube video that shows someone offering $7,000,000 for it is ludicrous and you probably sent it to yourself.
At this point, I am considering locking this topic so that we can all move on. It has become counter-productive and, quite frankly, a waste of everyone's time.
I am also close to sending you on your way as lying will not be tolerated here. It is time for you to tell the entire truth about this coin and why you joined our forum. I strongly advise you to consider your next posts very carefully.
one more thing, if its the real deal why not have it re-certified by a more credible company? that seems like the smart thing to do seeming that acg is a unreliable company. not saying that it would make it worth more but people would see its not a fake! looks fake to me. not that I have a trained eye or anything!
What a Sad and Pathetic video that was.It was nice of the author of the video to share there level of education with all of us. Mickey mouse phone as a prop?.
