Thanks all for the comments. I will be submitting about 10 Ikes... there were some really nice coins in this hoard... also found a Uncirculated (likley MS63) 1972 Type II and many peg legs, talon heads etc. Great fun.

They appear to be at least MS65, so I'd get them graded. Nice die clash on the reverse of #2.

Windy. When you send certain Ikes in for grading obviously keep this particular thread posted of the results both in written and visual(if possible) formats. The attached snipet shot of the second photo down illustrates an abnormal area of interest in the field adjacent to the posterior side of Eisenhower's head. Because I am constantly learning to more accurately differentiate PMD from a true variety/error it would greatly appreciated if you could include this specific coin as one of the lucky Ikes chosen to be sent off to the TPG. Thanks mdpmedia

MDP, You note the die polish lines. This coin is one of those being submitted... will follow with grades and image of graded coins.

Very nice Eisenhower dollars! I would not send them (or any coin) in for grading, but that is just my opinion.

Just got PCGS results and disappointed... MS65, MS65 and MS65+ - I was sure at least one would go 66. Also got a MS63 1972 Type II Ike.

That's about right for PCGS. My MS-66s are really strong. I've seen 66+ and 67s and there is a difference. How many more of these nice gemmy ikes do you have?

Humh... seemed like PCGS is tougher on larger coin? There are quite a few IKE collectors on here that would be interested in buying your coins (including me) so I think you can list some of your extra coins in the auction section and see what happen.... but you have to have 250 quality posts first though. That's not hard if you participate/involve in discussions.
