Never found one but I did buy a 1972 spy half dollar coin from the Spy Museum in Washington DC. You use a small metal ring to hold the coin and slam it on a table to open it. There is a small space to place film or paper and then press the two sides together to reseal them. Actually used it to send my sister messages when she was studing oversees. I think it cost me around $20 at the museum so I hope I can find one in circulation someday.

Never found one.Dont know if I have missed them, I dont check every coin. Everyone says you will know it if you see one, but none here. I'm mostly a shiney rim checker, and do let all the coins ding together before moving on to the next roll. I do some checking for DDO's and check all the 82's I see, but thats a bout as far s I go.

None, but I have found two FAKE half dollars - both 1974-D dated and made out of lead. Chinese counterfeits, I believe. I have found three magician's nickels though.
CRH Nickeloholic. 1,600,000 nickels searched in eight years! Have found FOUR complete Jefferson sets!

I have found 2 and 1/2 magic coin trick halves in 4 years of searching. One of them was in another CRHers dump, so they apparently missed it while only edge checking. Another of them was in a handful of CWRs I know were silver-sniped by a teller at the bank. The 1/2 of one was in a Loomis MWR. It was the hollow obverse side.
