It's a tough call with the worn legends and no mint mark, though the horseman and his helmet are cool. Personally I would wait and look for another one.

I started to reply when you first posted it, but had to run with my wife to the doctor. It's not a bad looking coin, but it does have either worn legend or a poor strike on the legends. I would say the coin is somewhat overpriced, but not so bad that if you really want it that you shouldn't go for it. I know I'm late responding, but it couldn't be helped.

Thanks everyone I realize it isn't a steal, but it at least isn't a rip-off, and that's ok with me. Plus its coming with the capsule, so technically I am buying that too

Looks like an FH1 to me and would be worth double the price if the mintmark were clear. I don't usually buy coins without mintmarks but a little work might place this one to the mint (Lugdunum?) by style and it might be worth owning if you want an FH1.

I do believe your right dougsmit, it does look like FH1 to me. As for the whether or not it ha a mint mark, I looked at the exergue carefully and see two characters and a star at the end. The two characters to me look a bit like A and R, so I think it could be Arles. But I could be wrong of course. Hopefully the mintmark will be clearer when I have it in hand

My first thought was maybe Siscia, but I think Doug is right with Lugdunum. Pretty sure it's not Arles tough

The coin arrived today and now that I've had a chance to examine it in hand (with a loupe), I am certain it is from Arles with the mintmark SARL*, making it RIC 103. A bit strange though that 103 in Helveticas has the reverse legend as FEL TEMP R-EPARATIO (with the break), and my coin doesn't have the break. Then again, I am sure these spreadsheets aren't 100% error-free.

If this is an error it is RIC's not Helvetica's since RIC reads 103 with the break. I suggest sending the photo (or a better one you take) to Helvetica and see what she says. I'd like to know what style she sees on this coin. She does not have a 103 on her page and should be interested in seeing it.

Just sent an email to her. I'll let you all know what she has to say about my coin.

Dane responded back and she agrees with me that it is Arles 103 with an unlisted break. She also showed desire in adding it to Wildwinds and the RIC list and of course I said yes! This will be my first coin on Wildwinds!
