It has literally taken years to get these acknowledged as errors. I have a bunch. Has been a battle to get the "old school" snow bank theory to go away. artdio, this one will fit well with the hoard I have.
SPP was instrumental in both interest and the equipment/skill to get this published....hell, he even wrote the paper. The alloy mixing error paper is just another fine example of evolution of our hobby. I was able to get the first batch certified as they are...alloy errors in CCCS hard holders noting the alloy numbers. I then gave SPP one of the "test" coins in a hard slab as a thank you for his efforts. A thank you for his fine work. It truly is wonderful to be able to call him a friend! (hard to get near him due to his body guard tho......) MM

RogerD, we have really only analyzed a small population (less than 20 coins, only two 1987 coins have been tested)... send me a PM if you are interested in having your coins analyzed. The analysis is free - the catch is that I get to use/publish the data.

Between $30 and $60, depending on much various people show interest in the coin...

Are you still analyzing these, SPP? I found a '92 that looks like the OP's ... or like something that has lived in a snow bank.
