Sorry,
It's a fake. Send it to me and I will reimburse you $20 for your trouble.
Just kidding; looks the real deal to me. Nice clear scoop on the wave and the narrow bottom of the stem on the 2.

So yee-hah away.

Yee-Hah.

Been a good day of noodling. Some of the other more exciting coins I found today were a 2010 50 cent rotated die ( that was a yee-hah moment in itself), 2004 pointy A 20 cent and an aUNC 1985 10 cent.

by the way did I say:

Yee-HAh

I forgot to mention I also found a 1985 50 cent coin. However that all pales into insignificance. To be quite honest it hasn't quite sunk in yet. The wavy 1966 20 cents and the 2000 dollar mule are my holy grail coins for noodling and I have found one half of the grail.
This one will take pride in my collection.

A great day of noodling. Congratulations! I have found both the mule and wavy's and I remember what a thrill it is. I would kill to find a rotated 2010 50c. I've searched through 100's, probably 1000's and nothing!

Wow, that's a great result - and not the only thing you found....a 2010 Rotated 50 cent as well: that's just gravy!!
Gee, just think about how many people have handled that 20c in the past 46 odd years and not known its true value...Congrats.

I try not to. It just makes me want to wash my hands.
It's interesting how many people don't see the value in these coins. Even after I explained it to my wife and kids they said they wouldn't pay 40 cents for the coin. Ah well better for us it means more of these coins are let out into the wild for us to capture.
Thanks again for all the comments. I'll be enjoying this one for a very long time
