Buyer pays shipping. Packing material is included in that. I just saw a roll go for $20! Definitely a good sale. Trust me, I calculate a lot before I bother selling something on ebay. I have sold all kinds of video games, cell phones, trading cards, and even some coins on ebay. You have to get some experience and be able to estimate shipping costs in order to sell efficiently! However, even if you put the shipping price too low, most people bid the difference because they are calculating too! For example, they see an item for $15 free shipping, and another identical item for $12 with $4 shipping, they know what's cheaper!

I get at least one Bicentennial Quarter in my change every month.

I find lots of bicentennials in change. I like to throw a few in Christmas stockings for my siblings each year. I collect about 50 per year- more if I'm lucky. Averages out to about 1 a week. I save every one I find, no matter the condition. Plus, I like the design.

Bicentennial quarters are worth 24 cents! they made them for two years.I do like the drummer guy on the reverse though.

All quarters are worth a minimum of $.25, no matter the condition or the year. And even though they were minted for 2 years, people like them, so they are willing to pay a little more for them.

True! It's all supply and demand. PEople always point out the lack of rarity when saying they are worth 25 cents, but what they forget is demand! Besides, to know what something is really worth, just look at what people pay for it! That was why I made this thread, because I watched them go for as much as double face.

Quote:24 cents? but they sell on ebay for as much as 50 cents! evrything on ebay goes for alot more than its "worth". anything you are looking for on there you are going to pay a premium for.

I have been saving my bicentennials, and have 2 rolls. I liked the design, I thought this thread was interesting because I didn't think they demands any sort of premium since they minted over a billion of them. But I guess if someone wants them then they will pay for them.

I have always kept them. I like to keep designs they made only one year. Even if they made a billion of them, they are still neat.

True! Keep in mind they actually made bicentennial coins for 2 years, but your point is the same.
I have been on a roll with quarters lately. Lots of bic, 2011, 2012, some 2009, and some silver! I really don't do much volume compared to most people.
