The 50c and 25c were ungraded and returned by ICCS as altered. Can anyone point out to me what ICCS was seeing? I realize the pics aren't the best...

Are you seriously still trying to push this even after the new member brought it up that he was not allowed to sell or trade on the forum because of the rules. The new member is trying to abide by the rules and how does it look to have an established member to try and get them to break them |

Easy Bryan I was scolded by the powers that be already so I dont need your input. I was not the only one to ask this and I never did say NOW did I... I thought not..I know all about the 50 post rules and what I was asking him was an ebay question between himself and me..I did not know he was not allowed to communicate with me outside of here thats all.... so stop worrying.. its the first time I get told ...and for the record.. neither myself or the other member asked him to sell or trade now... |

You need to realize that all of the rule-breaking posts were moved and not deleted.
This gives me the ability see what really happened. Your posts were a clear solicitation. Plain and simple.
While this thread will remain open, this particular matter is closed. We have the last word.

Thank you.  Your posts were open to interpretation. While you did not say "now" you did say "by the way, there are rules..." either. It is all good. We make mistakes. We learn from them. We are better for it. |

Anytime, I made the mistake of not being 100% clear .. my daddy always told me Son own up to your mistakes and you will be better for it :)) Thanks guys...next time I will choose my words more wisely ...

If you decide to list them on ebay, just disclose their problems - that way someone won't end up with something they weren't expecting. |

Still like to know how other members treat ungradable coins though! Got several responses before the thread squirrelled a bit and eager to hear any more. Thanks.

its there to make sure guys don't just come here and try to sell their wares so to speak... So if you hang around for the 50 then it shows your here for more than just that... Maybe others will add to it..

Trimble, just because a coin is ungradable by one does not mean another company wont grade it...Myself I treat them like any other coin .with respect and care...They are still collectible and someone will always want them as fillers or to better a low grade they have... Just because ICCS says so does not make it word...They done it to me in the past and I honestly waited a few months sent it back in after it had retoned a bit and it was graded with no comment? BUT I guess it would depend on how bad a job someone did on it...

B/S/T is secondary to the primary function of this community, which is to share information and educate people new to the hobby. |
