trimble whizzing is when they take a very fine wire brush or other type stuff to go in a rotating manner.. it is an attempt to make it look like luster..

Really hard to tell with those photos what exactly I am looking at. When you get to 50 posts, you can contact me and then send me high resolution photos. Thanks for posting! --SPP

I don't see any glaring evidence of whizzing, but without actually being able to examine it under a loupe (ideal), high res photos would be the next best thing to determine if the coin has been doctored...

If I'm correct trimble stated that ICCS returned it as whizzed so even looking aat it in hand would not change that...

Thanks BmOney, didn't see the previous thread... So ICCS says this coin is whizzed, eh? Hmmm.... Would love for some of the seriously learned folks on here to be able to examine it and render their respective determinations...

trimble under magnification can you see any circular hair lines If so then this would be why they said this....Judging from the pics I cannot see any but a coin in hand is always better.... Take a real close look at it

Found my 30x loupe. Can see what you are talking about now, although I also think I am getting a headache from staring through it...note to self, learn how to properly use a loupe. :)
Anyway, small circular lines forming small patterns on the faces of the coin. Can't see it with the naked eye, but with the loupe once you see them, there they are. Thanks artdio.

30x would give anyone a headache.
10X is all that's needed.
The surface should look like it's full of very small ruts or grooves.
These give the coin the look of a high lustre.
Remember a whizzed coin 'looks good from far, but is far from good'.
