My cousin finally got his coin as well. It was a MS64 glacier. He was excited to get his first slabbed coin though so it was a win win situation. Free and Fun!

To TheForce- I believe they stopped this promo around December 20th... I could be wrong but I think someone looked around then and it was already over... All of us who just received our coins registered around Dec 4th, it just took them forever to send them...
But if its still open it was when you signed up for the set registry so you can check there.

n9jig- ya, I also believe it was to try to gain customers. And it seems alot of people's coins have been off on grade, although some have been ok too. I have a circulated ATB set as well as a MS one I ordered and your right, some I the circulated were nicer... I gave the MS set to my little sister for Christmas and ordered another MS set through a different company that was surprisingly excellant.. All of them look nicer than the MS-65 PCGS sent me.. So I guess it's all on where you order them from.
The first set was from bank rolled coins (I think that's what the company said) and the 2nd was direct from the mint (through a distributer) and as I said was really nice.. So were the 2012 s circulation strikes.. I already preordered all of 2013 PDS because I was so happy with the quality.. So again I'd have to guess its all on where you order them from

Ugh, I just found this thread. Have they ever done anything like this before. I still don't have a slabbed coin and would have loved to have gotten my first for free. I want to get a PCGS graded coin so badly that I was thinking of buying one of the elcheapo coins that I couldn't even stand to look at off the bay.

I got a Denver Grand Canyon MS-65 and my wife got a Philly Glacier MS-64. I signed up early and then signed my wife up after I started this thread... I received mine lightning quick and my wife's took about 3 or 4 weeks, as they (PCGS) ran out of quarters early on during the promo. I'm assuming that the first run of these free coins were Grand Canyon and the next run was Glacier.

I'm glad that so many signed up and took advantage of this offer

52Raymo- lol, it's no secret, I'll tell ya!
The less than perfect set was from some online distributer.. I don't remember off hand but its not worth looking up as they were more dinged than my circulation P's...
Then I ordered the Denali 3 coin set (P,D & S circulation) from a different online distributer (this was a preorder before they were released) .. And this is the place I preordered all the 2013's from also as the coins were direct from the mint and comparing to the MS-65 I just received from PCGS these would get MS-67's (probably not literally, but comparing them to the 65 I received from PCGS they're nicer)
The really nice 30 coin set I ordered was actually from a different place, it was the promo (also no longer available...) from littelton coin company and included all 30 P&D's to date for face value, and I got a free 2010 D MS shield penny (they sent a P or D to each order) with the promo also so it was actually a penny under face value total cost including shipping. And every one of these coins was also at least as nice as the 65 I received from PCGS, although the 2 P&D Denali's I had preordered with the S were nicer so I switched them out with those...
We have a whole thread on litteltons promos on here... Some of the promos are great (like the 1982s proof 63 George Washington 90% half for $9.95 including shipping that's on it's way to me now ;) some not so good... But the ATB set for face + a free penny was another good one... As was the P&D Native American sachuegea $ 8 coin set for face + 4 2009 (P or D) bicentennial pennies for free (my order of that one is "pending fulfillment" so I should get it soon). So it's definitely worth watching the thread for some of their new promos, we post the codes (there newest isn't great though)
So I gave the first full set to my little sis... Kept the littelton one and have an extra Denali P & D and preordered all 2013's from that other company.. I can give the ebay store name for them but when I got my order I got a letter from them saying it was cheaper to buy direct from them (no PayPal or ebay markup fees) so if anyone's interested I can find that too... Although they charge over face.. But as I said they are direct from the mint high quality ATB's... At least the 3 I got were. I think it was $11.30 total including shipping for all 2013 P,D & S and you get 3 (PDS) each time they're released) so about .75 cents each (but actually less because it included shipping). You could probably find them for less, or even pull them from circulation (if there in your area like they are here) but I'm impatient and wanted the full MS set so I preorder and don't mind paying a premium as long as the quality's there!
So if anyone wants the ebay store name or the direct order info I'll try to find it, but definitely check the littelton promos from time to time!! As that was by far the best deal!
(I feel bad, when that 30 ATB promo was going on a member here posted a want list.... Of all the P&D ATB's to date.... and he could have got a pristine set from littelton for face value.. But I don't have enough posts to reply to a want list and his PM's were off... His loss because the promo's done. Lol, I tried.)

Thanks Nathan, I've been mining them from quarter rolls. I kinda like doing that. Ha, I get pretty dang excited when I come across one and my wife probably rolls her eyes when I tell her. Actually I caught her going through a couple rolls, lol.

Just got my slab the other day, an MS65 Glacier. Will post a pic later on, once home. Happy to have any slabbed coin. Wonder if the promotion is generating new slab collectors/set registry folks for them.
