I have to agree with chrsmat71, pull out some Morgans or Standing liberty's people are interested. When you show them ancients, then nothing, unless you can afford gold.
Otherwise, no interest, until they learn what these coins can be worth.
Like everyone who collects something, It is all about the learning, fascination and not necessarily the
monetary value of what you collect. Thank you all for making me realize this again. Of course knowing when to buy and sell are also a big plus. Thank you

Due to The economy and being retired I have sold most of my silver since the price is high. But I am still buying and selling. I like others, am looking for that coin that no one else has. Bragging rights. No matter what coin it is . Thank you.

I think you misunderstood me...your coin is not crap, I was playing off what you guys where saying about people nodding and smiling.... My wife thinks that my coins are crap,and asks me all the time why I buy crap?, and when I am dead she most likely sell the whole collection for $50 bucks......forgive me for misunderstanding....contrary to what everyone might think, I love ALL ancient the coins, regardless of level of crud, muck or wear....I just don't care for fakes...
