Thanks guys.  Just goes to show that those folks that are always saying good coins can't be had on ebay without paying out the nose just aren't right. A little effort goes a long way on the Bay.

That's a very strong 8/7--probably one of the strongest on US coins!  Back in the day, I wonder if collectors even noticed, perhaps they saw it as nothing more than a mistake?  As a collector of overdates, I wish I could go back and pick these out of pocket change.  I also like how the 8/7 has "horns". Here's a montage of overdates I've made. Most are mine--except for the real expensive ones.
