Looks like this same coin was sold by Heritage in 2008 for $126,500. At that time it was in a different NGC holder; maybe it was broken out and resubmitted in hopes of a higher grade, or else the owner wanted it housed in a new holder with "edge view" feature. The new holder has the same grade as in the 2008 sale (MS64* DPL). The current seller has copied the identical description text from the Heritage listing.
Spectacular coin indeed, but is it worth $258,500 more that what it sold for just 4 years ago? Might be some room for negotiation....

$385K and the seller mentions if you want overnight delivery, they may charge you extra. Seriously, lol.

Ever see the gold coin experiment on youtube. Guy goes to a fast food place, orders about 30 dollars worth of stuff and they wouldnt accept that gold coin even tho it was worth over 18k lol.

Since we are talking about Proof Gold, I have always been partial to this one, It sold at auction in 2006 for the same asking price they are asking for the one on ebay the OP posted This one sold for 1.5 million a few years ago and is one of 3 minted And lastly this coin sold for $5,000,000 in 2006
