To be honest, I shouldn't even be bidding. I'm suppose to not buy again until after the first of the year. I can't go much higher than an opening bid, but if someone out there (Dionysos) wants to bid please have at it. I'll be almost as happy to see it in one of your hands. Good luck Henry2.

It still has over 24 hours to go and it's past $219. I'll be surprised if it doesn't shoot past $300 before it's done.

Nice find Henry  Certainly deserves a dancing fruit  I think ACG is right about harsh cleaning and electrolosis but its still a beauty and 'cleaning' doesn't strike the same fear into ancient collectors as it does to their modern counterparts. Congrats and good luck to all forum bidders. |

I think the buyer got a very good deal here. Would have bidded more but did not like the look of the 2 feedbacks bidder (with 100% bids on this same seller) that kept bidding until he reached my max bid, but never got over  Edited by Dionysos

Good price for this coin. I stopped at $200. Perhaps I should have gone just a tad bit higher.

Yeah I know who that person is dionysos, she used to be a regular at the store and she also bid on a knife I sold through ebay. I'm sure I will receive a message asking me to keep her in mind if the buyer doesn't come through :P Over all though I am thrilled with the final total even though the money is going right back out into Christmas gifts lol. |
